Homework Week of October 27-31

Happy Halloween this week!
 Your child should have brought home a half-sized orange paper about the school's Halloween parade.


READING: 120 minutes due by Friday, Oct. 31

MATH: Please read and discuss the My Math homework pages together. Students are learning to find all the factor pairs of a multiple/product. The strategies we have learned are to use repeated  addition or subtraction, draw groups, draw arrays, or use division. PLEASE start working with your child to learn their multiplication facts. Solid knowledge of the facts will help your child to succeed. We will begin making flashcards to bring home and practice at school starting Wednesday. This week we are also naming numbers from 2-100 as prime or composite and multiplying a multiple of ten by a one-digit factor.
