Homework assigned 10/28 DUE 11/4

Dear Parents and Students,

Social Studies: Salt Dough Map is due Friday, December 2, 2016. Your student should have brought home a letter explaining the project that includes the recipe for making the salt dough. Your child also has an attached map of Utah's 3 regions that is the model and basis for the salt dough map.

Reading: 120 Minutes for the  READING BUCKET LIST;

Two book reports due by December 4th.

Spelling: Words with digraphs.

Digraphs are two or more consonants that make one phonetic sound while reading. Digraph sorts include: ph, wh, sh, ch, tch, ng.

Technically "ng" is not a digraph but our reading program includes it there.

Math: My Math pages 151-152; 157-158; 489-490; and 495-496.

The pages in the 400s are challenging, but we have been working on it since day 1 of school in our Numbers of the Day.

The students should know the following concepts: factors, factor pairs, multiple, product, prime number, and composite number. Please quiz them about these ideas. Your help is greatly appreciated.
